The Entrepregirl competition is organized by the Bulgarian Center for Women in Technology and is the only one of its kind in Europe. Its aim is to develop entrepreneurship among young girls and to encourage them to follow their dreams. In the four consecutive editions of the contest, nearly 200 girls dared to tell the world about their ideas and show that they can also be carriers of change.
More about Entrepregirl
Entrepregirl is inspired by the Award of Digital Woman of Europe, which Sasha Bezuhanova, Chair of the Bulgarian Women’s Technology Center, received from the Vice President of the European Commission and European Commissioner for Digital Policy Neelie Cruise at the ICT2013 Digital Agenda for Europe Forum. The Entrepregirl Award is part of Sasha’s desire and effort to develop entrepreneurial culture in Bulgaria and to encourage more girls to move to the world of business and technology.
For the Entrepregirl Award candidates aged 16 to 25 years can compete. Any girl who has an idea and is not afraid to share it can participate.
